well, ur cars gets louder as u pull towards redline. Its nice especially for me. What do u mean unstable? As far as i know, CAI seldom gives u the least of problems unless its not installed properly or there is no air going into it which wud make the car draggy. Mine is M54 as well too and i dont have any problems. Anyway those who did have can be free to express in this thread.
P.S - Mine is an M54 inline-6 2.2 as well.

Hi Alex,
Its still available. Yes sure we can discuss the cost. Depending on where you stay, i can take you to wherever to change and install. If its at my garage at AMK, its relatively much lower. DIY can but i think i prefer to sell it with the confidence its been properly installed. No worries on so many qns. Its education.
