FOB - roof up & down with one touch (without holding)
Roof up & down while moving
Trunk comfort access
One touch all windows up & down
Unlock doors with all windows down (very useful)
Door lock (roof down) then bring all windows up
and many more...

Hi,
I think I need to explain this a little. Not quite sure how the picture helps but it is a little box with wires that you need to tap into the car's CANBUS (I think BMW uses CANBUS)
The size is about 1 inch by 1inch by 0.5inch

How it works
This is a module that you install behind the rear seat. It taps into the CANBUS of the car and intercept all the signals from the car key or the car centre & window switches

It is a used item. I have it installed in my car by myself and used it for abt 2 yrs

Thus it is an aftermarket product.

The functions/feature that you get are activated via the car key or the central roof switch & the all window switch.

Ok here's the comprehensive feature list, frankly speaking once installed you cant live without it if you drive topless often.

The unlock door and all windows down (roof up) is a very useful feature when you want to dump your stuff in the back seats.

Centre Console Roof Top switch (on the car)
When enabled, the center console switch operation is enhanced as follows:
Holding down the switch in either direction will operate the top as long as the switch is held.
A short tap on "OPEN" will open the top completely and leave all windows down.
Two short taps on "OPEN" will open the top completely and then raise the front windows up.
A short tap on "CLOSE" will close the top completely and raise all windows up.
A Quick double-tap on "OPEN" will raise all windows.
A quick double-tap on "CLOSE" will lower all windows.​


Remote Control (Car key)
Hold "OPEN" down for about 1 sec., then let go: All windows roll down.
Hold "OPEN" down until roof starts moving, then let go: Roof opens automatically.
Hold "OPEN" down until roof starts moving, then let go and tap "OPEN" again quickly: Roof opens automatically,then all windows roll up.
Hold "CLOSE" down for about 1 sec., then let go: All windows roll up.
Hold "CLOSE" down until roof starts moving, then let go: Roof and windows close automatically.
With the roof open, a quick double-tap on the "TRUNK" button will automatically lift the roof mechanism for easier trunk access.​


One Touch Window Switch
This function allows to program the driver's door "all-windows" switch to raise all windows using One-Touch. By
factory this switch only does One-Touch down.​


Roof Operation
Maximum allowed speed for roof operation, max 40km/h
Setting the max allowed speed for top operation in steps of 10km/h​


The module features can be disabled or enabled without removing the module. It is enabled/disabled via the centre console switch.​

To enter programming mode, first make sure the key is not in the ignition lock, all doors are unlocked and the​


driver's door is open.
Close the driver's door and within about 5 seconds pull and hold the roof switch until the left
arrow blinks once to indicate function 1. Now let go of the switch. From this point on you can navigate through the
functions by pulling the switch up and once the arrows are finished indicating the function and setting, change the
setting by pushing it down. The new settings are active immediately.​

To end programming mode, either wait for 30 sec. or insert the key into the ignition lock. End of programming mode is indicated by both arrows lighting up simultaneously for 1 second.​
