Bro... you were giving such a good review on the swiss chiptech in your previous post... what happened? Now you got me and another few bros who pre-ordered the chip a bit worried... Care to share the sudden and abrupt change? Not enough power or there are installation issues?

Power is definitely the main reason for moving on. The other reason is that I am still trying to resolve my car issues and most are software related. Thus, I am taking the chip out for now but will explore other options in time to come.

I have already decided on couple of new products but still doing my own research.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Nope. No error codes at all.

Re: WTS: Swiss Chiptech 16i/18i F20

Hi guys,

Sales for the chip is withdrawn. Have decided to put it back into my car after getting my software issues fixed.

Cheers!

Re: WTS: Swiss Chiptech 16i/18i F20

Kindly share the software issue and how it was resolved?

Re: WTS: Swiss Chiptech 16i/18i F20

Hi, please share how your issues were resolved. I was thinking of getting a piggyback ECU fitted too but don't want any trouble!

Aiya... looks I need to make clear. There is no trouble to the software arising from the chip. I got the software issues much earlier before I had it installed in my car.

The latest one of course is my bluetooth which requires a re-programme to the software.

Yup, that's it. As a matter of fact, the chip is back in my car.
