WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Just installed H&R sport springs and bilstein B6 shocks on my F10. Handles great but find it a little stiff (but at least doesn't float like stock setup) and would consider swapping with a relatively new BMW M Sports (lower by 10mm) springs with matching shocks. Overall lowered by 1".

Will also consider swapping my H&Rs for Eibach pro-kit. Contact me at 9816-7994. Thanks.

Care to share what rim size you using ?
I am on stock spring with B6 and it feels so comfy.
BTW i tot B6 should go with stock spring while B8 should be for lower spring ?

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Now on 20" With PSS tires. B6 can also use for mild drops ie

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Oh i see. Eibach is softer than H&R ?

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

I believe eibach should be softer. Read some comprehensive review on both springs and H&R is better for handling, lowers the front a bit more to make the drop more even, but slightly stiffer. Can't have best of both worlds so willing to consider eibach springs instead of the H&Rs. Maybe can taxi before committing to a swap.

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

I think eibach probably won't make much of a difference so kw street comfort if anyone wants to swap. Plus top up from me. Lol

By the way does anyone know if any of the suspension components around the shocks and struts need to be reused if changed to kw street comfort? I just replaced all the strut mounts, all 8 pieces of rubber for the springs, bump stops on shocks, etc paid about 2k total.

Does your $2k include the damper itself ?

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Yes. B6 was about 11xx and springs were about 500. The remaining parts were $4xx. I hope I get to use some of those parts when the coil overs are installed.

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Can I see the height obtained by your f10? With b6 and h&r.

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

Can anyone let me know where to buy ACS springs? Who has them in stock? Thanks.

Re: WTT-F10 H&R Springs/Bilstein B6 for M Sports shocks/springs

If you have just installed it, maybe should let it settle a while first?
