X1 making the family sick.

Two weeks ago we finally took our new X1 out on the motorway for a 3hr drive and for the first time ever we all arrived at the hotel feeling sick. My wife had a pain in her neck and a horrible headache. The baby vomited on route and cried a lot. I felt quite sea-sick and I was driving (and on dry land!!)

The X1 has unbelievably hard suspension which makes it 'rock' when one wheel encounters a bump or any kind of undulation in the road. The motorway is well used in parts but it is not that bad and we rarely exceed 110km (on cruse control) with no head or side winds.

Is this happening to anyone else?

fully agree. Most of us on 18" and mine on 19" no problem. Confirm the driver.

Try not to jerk too much, i.e. smoother braking, avoid aggressive pickup etc...

where have i read the exact posting... before? i am very sure.

i had fun with my x1. i did redo my alignment after the initial 2 weeks drive which was rather floaty... but now it feels planted and ready to sapu corner...

did too many of those and wasnt able to hide them from my fren... who gave me the evil eye... :dramamam:

Nothing to do with Suv. I feel that X1 though a suv handles and drives well. In fact X1 handles and drives like my E90.

If u look closely, a lot of stuff are the same as the e90.
It's kinda like a raised version of the e90

X1 should be a SAV. I used to drive a SUV. Handling is different. SUV has better capability to handle offroad so suspension is softer. SAV is a compact SUV more for weekends getaway to beaches or parks etc.

Ya. Thats why want to change car. X5 would be great
