To make things simple, ill post the top models of each series for your selection.

Please give a short reason why you voted for that model above the rest of the others.

If your current selection is NOT a current model (e.g. E30 M3), do state it as well. I've excluded rare and custom 1 off models as its just too variable.

For now...let's get it rolling!

hey,

i'd have the 850ci.. drove that 5.5L V12 in the E38 750i and i still prefer it over the V8 in my 745Li. really smooth and torquey.

also, the looks on that car hasn't been replicated in any of the new bmws. sleek, sophisticated and under-stated; it was like a german aston martin.

voted 850. see, my wife used to work in pml bt timah back in 89/90/91 when i was ard 19 & that was when i saw new 8ser (but forgot if its 840 or 850). so there after, my excuse to pick her was also to steal looks on the 8ser, muhahahaha......

Alpina B7 especially now with the facelifted 7 seeries... refined, insanely quick and a hoot to drive... if my impressions on teh 740i Sport are anything to go by...

Tuned 535dSport Wagon, practical, quick, very fuel economical, a hoot to drive!

M6 without a doubt, if I could afford. Stock-to-stock basis, it has the best elements in both aesthetics and power.

But I will change the rims.

M1. every day of the week, and twice on sunday.
ever since i saw a poster of one when i was in school with a full bodykit. mmmmm.
my ultimate dream BMW. and imo, the only car bmw has built that qualifies for supercar status. (if you consider having a mid engine as a pre-requisite for supercar entry).

oh wait i forgot. there is one other BMW thats not on the list.. the M1 BMW turbo prototype. only 2 were ever made.

The Turbo was powered by the 4-cylinder 1990cc turbocharged engine with 280 hp at 5200 rpm and a top speed of 165mph. The Turbo was BMW's first mid-engined car.
