I'll have the M5 for:

- Practical 4-door convenience for Father with kids like me
- Sleeper.....can smoke the shit outta most unwary road cars who think it's just another 5er
- Comfortable yet can track the living daylights outta it when you want

Definately the M5.

All purpose, drive normally with 400bhp, press the M POWER button and release the 'beast'! 507bhp of power! The seats adjust, the steering feels 'direct'.... Ohhhh Mamaaa....

I concur with your idea! I liked the E30 general shape and read all the rave reviews of the E30 M3....
But the E30 is not the top model of BMW (at least not now...)
