Gd day all,

This didnt really occured to me till a few months ago when I went to McDonald's Drive Thru at West Coast with my girlfriend...I don't drive the car much since am away most of the time...after getting our food and drinks...we started looking for a place to put the cup of green tea...

"Your BMW(e46 318i) dun have cupholder...*lol*(comparing it to the civic i have as well)" anyone encountered this have an ingenious way of holding their drinks while alone or have a nice looking solution other than those plug into aircon vent kind? :)

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

Prefer w/o cupholders to discourage drinking while driving...

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

Camelback sounds cool..like those used in racing one..

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

I use my Eurotray as a cup holder... Either that or the passenger is the cupholder

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

like that i dont want to be ur passenger ever...hahaha

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

That's why their called co-drivers. My driving school teach me one

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

you can put your drinks in the standard centre cubbyhole and then slide the cover forwards to fit.

The pen holder is slightly in the way, but a bit of wiggling should help. I prefer to use this setup where i can have a "cupholder" when needed, and at other times, still use the cubbyhole normally to put other stuff, as opposed to the proper sized cupholder where storage for other stuff is limited.

besides, macs has the egg-crate cup holder specially manufactured for under-priviledged BMW owners like ourselves, so you can ask them for that.

anyways, you shouldnt drink and drive. shame on you.

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

I think lots of people complain...
That's why the E90 comes with 2 fancy cupholders.. one for pax and one for driver. And they tuck very nicely away when not in use... I think its one of the best feature of the E90... provided they don't break that easily

well, for me, no offence, there is a strick rule, no eating and drinking in the car.
I learned my lesson. I spilled a whole cup of starbuck coffee on my previous car.
Guess what, it took 3 trips to the car grooming guy to clean up the mess before the smell goes away. at the same time, I spent a few weekends on my own to supplement the car grooming guy's work.

So, as some brothers said here, finish your food before getting into the car. If you take away your food, leave them in the boot and make sure that if it spills, it won't stain your car. Otherwise, you would have some nasty black color insects visiting your car and you would need to put pandan leaves around , and this makes your car no different than taxi :)

Again, no offence, this is just me.......

heh...hope the cab companies will not consider having the 3 or 5 series in their fleet anytime soon...I kinda like white 3,5,7 series...cant imagine that choice be automatically left out in future just cos of the cabs...

Re: Your BMW dun have cupholder.....

Don't worry about taxi companies using BMWs... the maintenance will scare them off :)
