+1. Same here.

Oops, my bad. I just did a search and realised so. Is the block Sdrive 23i detuned? It has the same torque anyway.
yes detuned to 205 bhp. but lighter so weight to power ratio and 0-100km upz!

+14hp = 6.4% gain over stock 218hp = 232hp
+10% in torque = 260 Nm

The above does not take into account the shift in the curves.

Anyway, just 3 words of advice - follow your heart.

If you have never done it before, then just do it. We only live once. At least you know what it is like, rather than wondering 10 years down the road "what if I have done it....?".

If you find it a waste of money, simple. Just don't do it on your next car.

Otherwise, you will keep wondering what if, and you will still end up remapping your next car.

So follow your heart.
Today saw a 9-mth old 335 stock suspension gave up on its owner. Ai tune mai?

From the basic aftermaket drop-in filter larped in the car, anything wrong, enough to void the warranty coz they'll find all the li-yews to soot one.

Doubt its a case of wear & tear for that 335, only 9-mths, can claim since within the period, heng suay oso.

U found your tissue yet?...

NA engines doesn't really give a good power-money ratio... I guess it's fine to do an ECU remap, but I think you should explore other options such as intakes or something :)

Yes, KWY, I have heard this elsewhere, too. So, I might check out hardware as well before firmware.

Your brand new Z at stock figures is honestly very decent liao....given the weight of the car even with a steel roof...:wavey:

Power is never enough. But handling upgrades can make your ride alot more fun IMO.

Grats again on your new Z....I love it in Blue or White or ....hell.....give the car to me in any color....I also want!!!! Hahaha!

Will try to post pix of the Blue (japanese) one I saw with BBS RE-V DBK wheels.....

You WILL faint....................(in a good way)...

Cheers!

Yeah, you're right Toby, power is never enough, and putting it into Sports mode is already very fun. You can actually feel the car kinda 'sit down' a bit when you select Sports, and the responsiveness improves.

Sorry to disappoint you, I decided against the Blue cos it looks kinda toyish to me. So I got the Sapphire Black cos it looks more.... "sart", you noe, you noe... boomz!

Will try and post some first pics later.
