The M cars come with all the options which we call higher specs. Its standard all over the world with minor differences here and there only. Thats how BMW spec the M cars. Not because PML brings in with the highest specs

Yeah to a certain extent but an item like Harman Kardon system in M3 for eg. is standard spec locally but an optional feature in other markets such as USA.
Also some side mirrors are foldable , some are not. I have seen a PI M3 here that has M3 mirror but NON foldable and no centre arm rest.

Z4M coupe (is that the correct name?) is priced in UK cheaper than the roadster (2.5k sterling less). Which translated locally means ballpark of $280k?

If so, an old fashioned, horny, widehipped M Coupe in some really offensive colour like caterpillar green would be pretty nice!

Also, wonder whether this is the start of more 'sensible' pricing of the M cars from PML.

Given that the AMG equivalents are cheaper in SG vs more expensive overseas and the same case for the Audi RS cars, I am hoping that PML prices their Ms more competitively.

actually i was talking to a PML management (skip name to protect my sources) at the launch; actually, BMW Asia TELLs PML what to price their cars and their expectations of margin. There is very little flexibility and say that PML has on pricing. Ya, I hope they (BMW Asia) has their radar up and doing their market research to wake up and know that AMG and Stuttgard are so much more attractive for many M-car customers to switch.
