Re: RS4 beat M3 ? caySman, rear seats, aesthetics (love the big fat ass on the 911, hence my sig), exhaust note (subjective), diversity (had a boxster b4 and the cayman feels very similar), and i do not track. The cayman S with an lsd will be a great track machine.

Re: RS4 beat M3 ? Remember that the 911 C2 (base version) from stuttgart is only 370k and 5 sec in manual guise. I would get either stuttgart C2 or stuttgart C2S or PI C2S or PI C2 over the e92 M3 if my budget fell between 350 - 450k. As i grow older, hp numbers, tech gizmos, and 0-100...
