Re: BMW Driver Training Cars - 325i
The 325s will be sold off as used, no tweaking of mileage, and most of them exported to other countries.
For a slight side track, these 325s used for the ADT are actually made in GERMANY. Not the usual South African plant that all our E90s come from.
Re: recommended car waxing / paint protection?
SwissVax Concorso isn't a paint protection, it's a wax. I had Meguiars M21 paint sealant done over my ride's original clear coat before having SwissVax Concorso applied.
Don't be taken in by the gimmicks of warranty, the ultimate 'warranty'...
Re: recommended car waxing / paint protection?
Anything from 6 hrs to 3 days or more. Depending on what you want to achieve on your ride. It's a customized form of car detailing.
Re: Service light on again
Nope no new cars. However there's a like-new E93 M3 (DCT) going for sale, Le Mans Blue with ONLY 300km to the clock and 2-digit bidded number plate to go along with it.......drool drool.
Re: Service light on again
Just to add.....that 1 hour wait's gonna feel really short as most of us petrol-heads will be snooping around at the resale car division that's just next door, PPSL.
Re: Service light on again
The 1hr express service encompass basic oil change service, air-con filter cleaning and resetting of OBC. Anything else will take extra time.
Had a session myself and was quite impressed at the 'quickness' of it.
Re: Prices of Accessories from PML :)
It's confirmed by PML.....NOTHING for the 323i/325i.
The only current alternative is to use the Performance exhaust of the N53 and do modifications to mate it with the N52 exhaust system, which is pretty much a cut and paste job.
Re: Prices of Accessories from PML :)
Noticed you've requested for a quote for the Performance exhaust for your E90 318i LCI.
Kinda surprised that they've got Performance exhaust for the inline 4 potters cos I've been waiting for the longest of times for BMW to manufacture one...
Re: recommended car waxing / paint protection?
If you're looking into a company which uses SwissVax, very impressive product based on personal experience, you may like to give Detail Lab @ Defu Lane 10 some consideration.
Just had my Monaco Blue E90 done up with a lavish coat of SwissVax...
Re: E90 LCI Performance Front Splitter
It's subtle looking yet it exudes presence.........
A great compliment to the stock front end of the E90 LCI
Re: New Tyres needed
Heya mate, now that you've taken the 'plunge' with the PZeros RFT, care to give some user reviews?
Am considering them myself after wearing out my current Potenzas RE050 RFT.
Cheers!
Re: some bugging qns on E90 LCI
Heya mate,
Regarding your 2) query, there ain't any other alternatives to the BMW Y-Cable if your wanna connect your Ipod to your audio system if you're considering to maximize the functions available on the car's audio unit.
Think it'll set you back...
Re: Scratches on Solar Film
Hey mate, sad to burst your bubble but there seems to be no remedy for the window film scratches. I'm having an E90 LCI too and had my 3M done up via PML.
Seems like a chronic problem and the reason given by the tech guys at PML is that the fitting between the...
