Ohh that's pretty manageable, I've heard of cases needing to change piston rings and the workmanship for that is crazy.

Able to share what was the workmanship fee for changing the gasket, etc?

Sorry to hijack thread, just wanna check with fellow BMW drivers here, is it common that you guys need to top up EO maybe once every 2 months or so as well? Read and heard from many mechs that BMW is famous for 'eating' EO, but it could be a sign of smth wrong with the engine too. Any advice...

Hey guys, I went to a shop looking to install front and rear camera and was told that if I did not use BMW Ace camera there will be a battery error and ECU fault code. And the only solution to put any other type of cameras would be to have an external battery. Can anyone shed some light on this...

Thanks, I've also read online that in other countries they get that problem too but because the engine is cold and once it's warmed up it'll disappear, kinda like what I'm facing, do you think I can ignore it since it goes off like after 10 seconds or so?

Hi does anyone have the above problem happening every time you start the engine? It happens only for like 10 seconds then its gone, also happens when I switch it off.
