went to a few car audio shops. the unscrupulous ones said they had to replace the whole cd player. costs $800. finally found a friendly audio place that dismantled the set and sent it to the a technician for fixing. the total bill: $60.

my aircon just goes dead. all the lights on the control panel are lit up but no air comes out of the vent. i topped up the gas and things were hunky dory for a couple of months. but the same old nagging problem is back again. anyone encountered this before?

My 10-disc changer cassette can't seem to eject. I brought it to the neighbourhood car audio shop and the guy says i have to change the whole thing. or bring it in to PML. either way, i'll be ripped off. any clues on a better solution?

how good is bvo's tuning of the ecu piggyback system? heard that in the long run, lots of problems will occur. eg. wierd idling, engine behaving strangely. each time extra $$$ to retune. it's a nightmare if the tuner is not good.

i installed one for about $130 on my E46. Fuel consumption, according to the onboard computer, fell from 11 litres/100 km to 10.1 litres/100 km. Power wise, it feels a little zippier. Overall, it's a cheap gadget that saves you some $$$ on fuel. Give it a try!
