    Anyway, just to update on this. Sent for repair, assessment is ignition coil and spark plugs. Changed and been smooth so far! Thanks!

    Its a Yr 2010, 740Li. The sound is a little like those Subaru WRX make when they changing gears e.g. Psst....Psst....Psst. Very sharp and short. Only during acceleration/upshift I think.
