    X1 making the family sick.

Re: X1 making the family sick. Wow. RFTs and nobody seriously thinks the ride is hard? RFT are now optional in EU, they cost EUR300 more. The ride changes a lot with temperature, something that wont be a problem in Singapore. Interesting the put 18" on the 20i which is basically the 18i...

    Issues and problems with X1

Re: Issues and problems with X1 too late for us! I have read they are putting EPS in all cars, that should solve the slight but horrible vibration in the steering wheel. Maybe they should speak more to customers and headhunt some Audi and Mercedes engineers.

Re: X1 making the family sick. Tire size is a good point: we have the basic 17" Ok, so most people on 18, some on 19". Any RFT tyres? Do most people here have xDrive 4x4, any sDrive models?

    X1 steering wheel vibration

We got our new X1 sdrive 18 manual transmission 4 weeks ago and with a little over 400km on the clock we are noticing a vibration on the steering wheel. The vibration is present whenever the gearing is engaged, when the car is stationary or moving in neutral there is no vibration. Can...

    X1 - the Good & the Bad

Re: X1 - the Good & the Bad Actuaries in London put first year loss on Mercedes and BMW as around 26%, Audi is 3rd with 22%. I have heard that BMW offers less than this as soon as it leaves the showroom.. It's another myth that promotes BMW, along with great service, quality builds, great...

    X1 - the Good & the Bad

Re: X1 - the Good & the Bad I believe the vast majority of the components are the same for the 'old' and 'new' X1. The cars are build to order with dealers putting in generic builds in the production line until the they have clients with specific configurations. Our X1 has around 20 options in...

    X1 - the Good & the Bad

Re: X1 - the Good & the Bad opps. yes, I missed the 'i'. Most cars in Europe are diesel, so I think think about petrol consumption. Deisel here is around 1,40 euros and petrol 1,30 but the consumption is very different. The new diesels are much cleaner, the X1 18d has OC2 at 139g.
