I will always miss the open top driving from time to time. I am not sure how much these will cost, but not too high to make it not attractive vs the newer models like E46 Cab / Z4 etc. Just a shot in the dark.

Re: stub out cigarette on soft top Luckily nowadays buses are air-conditioned. When driving top down, no risk of that spit, paper, what have you, being tossed out and into your car / head. I always try to avoid stopping next to a wind down window.

Re: SMG 6 Spd - When to change gears? yes, most of the times it goes to1. so far 2 times it does not shift to 1. in addition, engaging reverse is slower than auto. but that is fine for me.
