Re: v-kool no no no..i meant windscreen...pardon me..wrong choice of words....but see that it triggered a new idea.

does it make sense to v-kool the windshields and sideshields to reduce heat buildup. not sure if bmws come with some form of heat rejection shield in place.

Am going to swap from 16" to 17" rims. Any opinions on 5-series folks out there on which brands I should consider. I value comfort, quiet and responsive drive with reasonable acceleration.

Would anyone be able to provide some advice on which rim size is optimum for the 523i. 16,17 or 18?

Understand the 5 series just went through a facelift and is around 4 years into the current generation. I have been told it is just mid life. Would a Bimmer guru out there comment on when we expect to see a new 5 series generation?
