I have heard about F1 ASymm having cracking issues because it cannot take the weight of the car. Thats why i opted for Falken 912s instead.

Not sure how many bros are affected, but you might wanna verify it first?

what about Falken F452? is it a good brand what is the difference between 912s?

all the GY Asym has been returned to the agent by tyre shops, only PI ones left. I wont use GY Asym anymore

Heard from one of the sponsors tyres shop, the new batch will have the issue solved. make sure you get the 2010 batch or to have peach of mind, buy from site sponsors L.

Thats weird man.
I have been running my Goodyear Assym F1 for over a year now and I don't have this problem at all. I hope all the guys who have been affected have been compensated.

KNN my just had its sidewall cracked. CCB tht day driving at over 200kmh on NSH somemore. Just returned to LS and asked for claim from GY. KNN if they dont refund me I sure go STOMP.

Goodyear F1 so jialet meh? You worry me, i am looking for a set now. Anyway, everywhere seem out of stock for the specs i wanted. ;(

I am admittedly on a different size of GY F1 Asym tires, but after almost 20k's I have found them to be really good, particularly in noise and wet grip compared to my other tires. When I bought these tires I was very worried about the cracking issue, which has been well documented here. The info I received was that it was limited to one batch of a particular size, which was not the size I needed. I do make full use of my tires

i heard from shops that the only affected ones is with the 18" , not the 19"
i have been using the 19" for almost 20,000k , and these tyres rocks !!! good grip on wet roads ,silent and most of all, cheaper then PS2 and CSC3 ,
my next set of rubbers will be f1 asym again

I can confirm mine is 19" and I don't have this problem for almost 1 over year of owning them.
