Im asking on behalf of a fren, he got an offer for a 2.5 yrs old used E60 M5. He was quoted 300k for the car, worth it? It comes with full options. Thanks

Re: 2.5yr Old E60 M5

if i dun remember wrongly..the m5 selling priced was quite wide. ranging from 430-470. 300k is a fair price.

Re: 2.5yr Old E60 M5

Can't remember exactly when, think it's early this year, PPS had a 1-2 years old M5 for sale with an asking price of around 340K. Think the list price of a new M5 is around 440K. For 2.5 years old, I would say not to exceed 300K, probably around 280K is reasonable. Just my 2 cents...

Thanks guys for the replies, yeah my SE got back to me, a new indent with full options is 448800 brand new. Yeah I think a price of 280 to 300K is pretty reasonable too. :)

Re: 2.5yr Old E60 M5

seems quite a good pick up if u can get it below 300k

Re: 2.5yr Old E60 M5

Even at $280k, you will lose a fortune in the next 2.5 years. It will only be worth paper and scrap value after that and probably cost a lot in service / parts in the meantime.

Unless your friend has tons of money to burn (in which case, buy new) I would stay clear.

Re: 2.5yr Old E60 M5

need more details....mileage? accident free car? 280k if you can get is very fair. 2 yr old E55 going for ard 250k. guess thats best comparision.

however noticed M5 owners then to sell pretty fast. draw your own conclusions.
