2 Series Active Tourer Owners, Fall In!

Any bros had changed to 18 inch rims ? Care to share the experience (I.e FC, ride comfort)? Thanks!

Quite a few rides changed to 18s and a handful to 19s even.

If driving diesel, FC is won’t be the highest of concerns.

Ride comfort, somewhat harder but can be compensated with softer sidewalls due to tubeless tyres... so felt almost the same with 17” RFTs.

Definitely more stable and planted, seems to have a better overall driving experience.

I’d say that choose lighter rims, where ur budget can afford, as this would affect overall FC, drag and overall drivability compared to heavy cast rims.

But best part of the upgrading is ... the looks!!! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

lol indeed, im tempted by the good looks of 18 inch rims. Not many options for light rims. BBS, Breyton all seem quite heavy. The forged series are light but hella expensive. Other option would be jap rims, prodrive, wedsport but options limited due to PCD.

Some Breytons and BBS are Lightweight. Not all their models are cast rims. Go and ask the shops for the various lightweight options.
