You're probably right Slater but these guys are making tens of thousands per vehicle so by my book, it behooves them to serve the customers. After all. customers in Europe and the US can make any change they so choose so long as the car has not entered production stage.

Will be seeing the car on Thursday myself. CSA offered tomorrow which is the first day of preview but schedule very tight.

By the way, my CSA insists that those who pre-ordered can neither amend, add to or delete any options. I find this hard to comprehend - I mean if the car has not gone into production, you should be able to add any option you want yes? Can't imagine BMW turning away chance to make more $$... Anyone here has any luck changing their options on the F10? Thanks in advance.

Preview car arrived this afternoon, but only SEs were allowed to view. From what I can see, its a Space Grey 535 with Style 237 18" wheels

Been informed that you cannot delete standard spec items but can add options provided that the order deadline for your production batch has not passed - the lead time is about a month. No idea about amendments but I would imagine that it would be a logistical nightmare to allow amendments once the options have been keyed in since there is more room for mistakes. Still, I agree that as long as the deadline is still some way of, changes should be permitted. Just a little more effort is required.

Yup, CSA said same thing about standard items. Just thinking about adding sport seats but the response was quick - "no way, all changes are turned away by pml..."

When is your slated production month? The deadline for keying in orders/specs for the May production month is this week. If you production month is June or later, there should still be time, unless PML policy has changed. When I placed my booking, I requested for the ability to add options prior to the order deadline for my production month.

Car is stunning!

Sporty and luxurious! Was given the chance to view the car this morning! The interior is no much difference from the 7series. Notice that the back seats are more comfortable than E60! Head-up display is cool! like a fighter pilot.. If only the grill is made taller, the car will have more presence!

I heard that they going to increase $ further towards the launch... i am just hopping that i can secure COE asap else may need to top up.... Saw some custs been turned away as they did not make appts.. damn strict but make me feel more special since i had placed the deposit.. heard that all slots are taken up! currently only those who booked can view the car.. :woottt:
