Re: 6.9s for My Humble 523i

Examples of possible erroneous reading on GTECH - an almost stock chipped 335 sedan clocking 4.35 seconds from 0-100......

Car is chipped with JB2, running on 91 Octane..........

If that car can really clock 4.355 on GTECH, many 335 owners will be happy, cause many are using a higher-boost version of the chip...... 4 seconds?

Sub-4 for Juiced 335?

Re: 6.9s for My Humble 523i

I am going to recalibrate the GTech Pro and do a series of runs again. I have also placed an order for the GTimer GT2, different make, brand new unit. When it arrives I will do another series of runs. Whoever had PMed me, I had politely replied to all.

Re: 6.9s for My Humble 523i

I think what adds credibility is a set of dyno figures, combined with the mods, assessed against the car's parameters like weight...... That should give a feel whether the GTECH's figures are reliable or simply "happy dyno-type" of numbers.

gtech pro figures are always a tad optimistic, gotten 8.9s on the corolla before

gtech Pro measures the speed of the car when it STARTS accelerating. As a result, torque converter lag and reaction time is not taken into consideration.
