Usually I will go to Hong Kong St Fish Head Steamboat @ 167 Neil Road or Yet Con Hainanese Steamboat @ 25 Purvis Street. Thien Kee Hainanese Steamboat at Golden Mile Complex Basement is good too!!!

The best hotpot is in Sapporo, Hokkaido...Nishi Maru shabu shabu...at 6C and sake. Fly tomorrow, you should reach just in time for another round with me.

OT a bit...there's a fantastic TEO CHEW Restaurant along Amoy Street...nearby Neil Road...right..?

...omg...yummy...their Steam Pomfret is the thick promfret type..with kiam chye...drool..

....AND....their Teo Chew Yam Paste w ginko..is one of the smoothest & BESTEST!!!

Its that stretch of shop house style restaurants at Kovan/Upper Serangoon. Easiest way to spot it is to look out for Payar Lebar Methodist Church, it is right across the road.

Parking there can be a nightmare but there is lots of good food to be found.

Oh the teochew restaurant along Amoy Street is Huat Kee... Ya very good and fresh food and inexpensive despite the location... The Neil Road Fish Head Steamboat is actually behind Police Cantoment Complex/CNB... The soup is SOILD!!! Got herbs and spices with yam and Charcoal steamboat... Very nostalgic... And side order the fresh red Garoupa fish slices... Saliva drooling liao
