Airshow BMW Cars - confirmed have new 520

yo bros ... I was just at Pan Pacific this afternoon and the carpark had many BMW with plates labelled as AIRSHOW' Cars .. ... Most were 7 series but there were about 8 units of the new 520 N20 twin power turbo. There could be more in other hotels ... Not sure if these cars will be available for promotional sale after the AIRSHOW next week.

I saw about 200 BMW with "AIRSHOW" in Clementi Camp.. I think these cars will be selling off slightly cheaper....

ST showed 350 bimmers for the airshow.. But only 7 & X1 for sales at discounted $$.. How abt the 5?? Weird

Bros ... maybe some misunderstanding .... I am specifically highlighting the 520i ... because these are not mentioned in the papers as discounted sales car after airshow. Only the 7 and 1 series are mentioned. Aren't they gonna sell these 520i too after the show?

last heard from last airshow sales, the bimmer spec is bare ... and the discount is not really great

My mom bought a 5 from last airshow, spec was ok price not too bad esp since hers was one of the standby ones which weren't used. But damn I can't take her colour lor... The metallic gold one. :verysad:

For that matter, her car still underused, 4 years liao not even 15000 km.

I think so but you know moms, she thinks it's perfect just the way it is... Although she did offer to pass me her car and she buy my cousin's f10 instead. I preferred paying for the f10... In the long run it's probably cheaper than her "free" car

I was wondering did they actually "run in" the car properly before using it for the airshow? or straight off the shelf and they let the drivers of the airshow run in the cars?

Yea i've seen how some of the drivers of the show drive the cars.. thats why the concern. Guess pple who find the discount attractive enough will still buy them

A bro here said the Air Show's 730Li cars - quite fully spec'ed, not bare bone basic - are going for $300K nett nett, no overtrade. that's a good price, IMHO
