Just got Remus installed on my ride, low and mid suffer quite a fair bit even I has PB box, too bassy for me tot of going back tomorrow to reduce the bass nite with silencer, any advise to improve the low and mid end?

Anvillyson, I changed to Eisenmann a week ago. Initially found the low rev drone to be unbearably bassy, but hey, after a week, it has suddenly become quite bearable while I'm starting to enjoy the high rev roar more and more. I believe your Remus is even louder than Eisenmann, but give it a while and see how it goes.

On the other hand, performance-wise, I too lost some low end, and am still trying to live with that. You could use some sort of throttle remapping device to mask the power loss, but this won't actually restore the power loss of course.

Reset your high level adaptations might help - disconnect your batteries for 20 mins.

An ecu remap should help - peak torque at a lower rpm.

Oh yeah, that's right. I'll also try the ECU reset that C3PO and you suggested.

I thought ECU is designed to adapt to changing parameters, but ah well...

Don't dare to disconnect myself. I'll bring it down to workshop maybe next weekend - also need them to check some rattling from my exhaust.

Meanwhile, still same-same, looks like ECU doesn't adapt to the different exhaust flow.

Hang on hang on... There's such thing as a pass through?! Does it come as standard? Or is it an option?

I meant that hole between the 2seats. In the manual i believe its designed for accomodating skis (for places where you can do that)

Sorry if i wasnt clear earlier

Re: All about Z4 (E89/ E86/ E85) thread

Any E85-ers looking to upgrade their brakes to a BBK? I've sold off my car and i've got a Stoptech ST-40 BBK for sale. Dekitted and already at Boss. I just re-sprayed it to Lambo Orange. Rotors used for around 3k Mileage only. New SS Brake lines.
Text me at 97902735 if you're interested ya?
