Another E30 (manual) for sale....

Posting on behalf of a friend who somehow can't seem to start this thread:

Looking for buyer who loves this soon-to-be classic:

• e30m40 316i manual --> singapore registered
• 302,000km - personally covered 152,000km in 4 years 3 months.
• 19 years old (december 1989 manufacture date)
• all internal switches are working - except the two rear power windows
• spent lots of money to put the car in good conditon
• recently spent $1800 (march 2008) for top overhaul - new camshart, rocker arms, all valves, timing belt, rubber hoses, inlet (according to mechanic, engine is tip top with EVEN compression pressures - measurements provided in bill)
• all service bills available
• only used synthetic oil with regular change
• good fuel consumption returning 10 to 11 km/liter on highway
• engine is now quiet and as good as new
• 1-year old A/C compressor (last changed on 5/5/07)
• black leather recaro seats all round
• sparco 15" wheels (rare)
• lowered suspension mterra springs with Koni Sports dampers
• well taken care of except the exterior that has some dents due to minor knocks on the front fenders
• MTechII steering (leather slightly worn on the right side)
• top speed about 190 in 4th gear!

although i am not a fan of bmw :screwedu: :screwedu:, i have to say this car is rewarding to drive and incredibly reliable for its age. this is definitely one enjoyable workhorse. very strong and predicatable, i have enjoyed this car to many places in singapore & malaysia.

hahaha sorry man. i'm only a student working part-time jobs but i really like e30, that's why i want to see the pictures. i would really wanna own one of these babies in the future. haha

If it's any consolation, the asking price will probably be high, reflecting the time and cash invested, so it wouldn't have been a bargain.

hi i am quite interested, can take some photos for me? i plan to get a 2nd hand 316 this month or June, see how the conditions first... but i am not sure about the oil consumption and maintenance fees, anybody can briefly explain to me?

hi austin power.....

there's a different between the E30 and E36 body type
though the engine is a carry over from the predecessor E30!

you might want to do some research on this model first before deciding
hope this helps, and DO BEHAVE.... when u cruising on the expressway on a bimmer!

car is still available for sale. running cost is low and there is virtually NO or very little oil consumption. very low maintenance costs! this car saves you money... all service bills available

supposed to be sold but this guy demands it must be delivered tomorrow and i cant do it. so i decided not to sell to him.
