Arqray Ti muffler E46

Selling a used Arqray Titanium tip muffler
Was fitted to a 4cylinder but I think it should fit a 6cyl as well.
Very nice sound, not loud, just nice. Sounds very bassy too like a 6cyl.

Has slight scratches on the one of the tip and underbody.
But after installing it to the car its not noticeable.

New last time was around SGD $ 1800, now selling SGD $1000 nego.
PM me a reasonable offer if you're interested. Cheers.

Re: Arqray Ti tip muffler E46

bro, it doesn't come with LTA cert but it's not loud at all.

Re: Arqray Ti tip muffler E46

Hey bro,

it wouldn't fit E90 because the box shape is different.

Cheers

Hi 888,
I think you contacted me previously. Like I have checked, the 6 potters e46 have 2 pipes leading into the muffler box, as such, your muffler box could be for a 4 potter only. Will be good to double check to avoid any miscommunications esp since you are from malaysia (thus of course you dont need LTA cert which is Singapore land transport authority). All the best with your sales.

Re: Arqray Ti tip muffler E46

Lane,

I know what LTA cert stands for. :) It's just that a lot of SG buyers are asking for it.
That's why I stated that it's not included, so that I don't have to keep repeating myself.

Like I said previously, my friend's E46 323i, even though its a 6 potter 2.5 litre,
It only has 1 pipe connecting onto his stock muffler thus he can install my Arqray.
So it's wrong to say that only a 4 potter can use this muffler.

Cheers.

Re: Arqray Ti tip muffler E46

Great. All the best to your sales.

Very interesting that any M54 engine blocks has only 1 outlet for exhaust....i thought 6 potters has 2 manifolds leading to the 2 pipes to 2nd CATs and muffler. Anyway, do check it up again. I was interested in your muffler which was why i went to check the pipes and also with other 6 potters friends (all 320 sedans and 330 coupes share same engine block, but 330 has larger capacity but still same manifolds layout). Is your friend's engine block similar size to your 318? 6 potter engines are longer than 4 potters (almost touches the radiator fan, while 4 potters has a big gap that's why a lot of superchargers avail for 4 pots)

I checked Arqray site and they quoted 2 manifolds for a e46 4 and 6 pots (from my memory). Safest for you to check if your muffler p/n (if possible) against that website.

Loved the Arqray note from the youtube postings. very throaty...

Re: Arqray Ti tip muffler E46

Actually, only e46 330 has 2 pipes leading to the muffler. Other smaller 6 potter e46 has only 1 pipe, but I'm not sure whether the size of that 1 pipe is the same for 4 potter vs. 6 potter.

I just got my exhaust done up at FK last week, I had 2 pipes leading from engine block (primary CAT?) to 2 individual 2nd CATs, leading to a small box (like a small muffler), finally still in 2 pipes leading to my muffler box with 2 inlets and 2 outlets. Mine is a 320 sedan. Hopefully some higher level tech whiz can confirm for us. There was a thread from Chickenbackside showing details of his mod to SS muffler with downpipes (with lots of photos) on this forum (i think under technical and exhaust), his was a 320 sedan too and the photos clearly also shows 2 pipes all the way to engine blocks (photos showing welding processes...very educational).

I have seen some 318s underbellies, they have only 1 downpipe before muffler. Not so sure about 325, or other e46 models other than 318 and 320/330.

e90 320 is essentially a 4 potter so i think it has 1 pipe.

Bottomline, pls check your car's underbelly to confirm pipe counts:laughlik: don't quote me anyway as i am only scratching the surface of the exos literature lately as i am still searching for my ss/sebring/remus mods.
