Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for chiming in their views and I fully agree with most of you here. I did my sums and after recommendation from a few friends, they actually recommended either the Audi S4 or the BMW 335i. It will save me quite abit of money. I gave it some serious thought and decided that I will buy the lower end models instead as I will not be too stretched financially.

Thus, I apologise if I have caused anyone inconvenience and would like to highlight that BMW SG forum personnel are very helpful and I sincerely appreciate everyone's help and advises.

Yep, the S4. Stock vs stock, the S4 beats the 335 in smoothness and power delivery.

Between E90 335 and S4, I will pick S4.

Between E92 335 and S5, will will pick 335.

Having driven an M3 for almost 2.5years now, I can say that the M3 is a more "fun" and "engaging" car to drive because the car be uncontrollably controlled driving at the limits if you know how to play with the balance of the car. You have to know exactly what you are doing to really enjoy the M3.

For that reason, the M3 is a more sharp and tactile weapon if you know how to harness the way it has been designed to drive. I have always been a fan of RWD cars and it offers great rewards if driven properly.

Woot Omar! What times do you turn at Sepang in your M3 DCT?

Oh no you should never ever think of getting the 335 and all those HPFP problems. Pls tolang sayang get the S4. S4 can poke 335 but not vice versa, a lot of people here say one.

But turned out M3 Comp clocked a better time.

To reflect your presumably untested view, let's say that was rubbish. Assume JC and Stig were biased.

Simple - take a RS5 up to Sepang to try. We have Munich with a few M3s - normal or Comp - to know the numbers at Sepang.

At the end of the day there is no "perfect" car. To each his own la, after all some girls like thongs, some like grannies, some like those that are machiam half, you know like grannies kenna snipped 40% from below?

To the question whether M Sport Exhaust sounds better or Akra, I also don't know since I have not driven an Akra M3. All I can say is that the M Sport Exhaust got zero drone....personally i'm not an exhaust guy....happy with mine stock. Love the "sore throat" sound of Lambo V10 sound in Superleg and R8 V10 but can't afford...so make do lor...M3 V8 also buay pai.
