Auto Insurance for 320, 325 and X3

I am considering a 2nd hand BMW and would like to work out the running costs. Would appreciate if owners of 320, 325 and X3 share the cost of their car insurance.

heh heh...I'm looking for those bimmers as well...but not until end of the year. Would love to know what are the insurance costs as well, or at least a good agent to source quotes from.

New owners "forced" to take insurance from PML - MSIG.

Sorry if I used the word "forced" wrongly... it should be "U have to take with MSIG" ..... something like that if the above word is too strong... hmmm.....

Make it nicer... the rates by MSIG is suppose to be very competitive - and for me their excess claim is low e.g. $700 or less ..NCB50 percent.... and less than 1K for a brand new 320i

Just got my 320 a month ago from PML, insurance from AXA workout to $1450.00. Please note, it depends on age, job profile and may be driving experience.

Very reasonable. But what is your excess?

For new cars... no choice still better to take AD's. As usually u are allowed to bring it to PML.

Some third party ... ones they may like those NTUC types sent to the "cheapest" quote for repairs.

Anyway.. for 2nd hand cars out of warranty - what the heck! Go for cheaper...

For a 325 E90 with no NCD, AXA charged $1100 after GST thanks to PML. Will definitely not renew there but it was just a pain to sort it out myself.

me 50% NCD. yr 05 E90 325 with Axa. they quote me 1129? Whats wrong. Need to get your insurance and hammer them big time!!! any diff of urs n mine?

had an accident more than a year ago. maybe 10%NCD, hope to get same as you guys for the 320i. waiting for axa to quote.

after making a claim for an accident, even with 50% NCD, ntuc quote me 3.1k, up 200% from 1.1k ?!?!?!

all premium rate has gone crazy, u can forget abt the past premium u have.

Just want to check with fellow BMW owners, what is the annual insurance rate of a BMW 320i is like if I get insured from PML? I am using my parent's name to buy, who is already above 50-year-old, no summons, no claims, no offences, has more than 30 years of experience on the road.

AXA $950+ for above 50yrs old based on 50% NCD and 5% loyalty.
