..no need top up, if drop, jus hold..dun fret abt small amount, Tink long term.
But please have an open mindset, got win , got lost ..
Can do online ..DBS Vickers, Philips Securities etc, u might like 2 look see look see.. Can explore US markets too...maybe u hve a read first... Or go their oppix create a trading account. Free ley I

Only small percentage amt of broker fees thru broker .
Some ppl only concentrate in IPO, quick buy sell , earn sum monies beta den none.
Blue chips more stable.

better listen to you all, since i dont really have much time monitoring the finance things as running my own logistics business.

The advice given is solid $h1t. I go line up to buy Singtel stocks tmr... Shouldn't have cashed out my old Singtel shares last time... Regret Liao, after hearing what the dividend payout is.... But back then, needed money to buy HDB Bo pian.

Hellboy, dont go for FD.
The CIMB starsaver offers 0.8% and the only condition is you don't close the acct within 6 mths.
A few years back when i started my acct, their staff came over to my place with all the documents and settled everything..hassle free and i-banking fund transfer to dbs/ocbc was a breeze as well. Not sure if they still provide the home service but you should check with them.

If you have time to read much more, then go start a trading acct. Go for solid companies with good dividends, returns roughly 4-6%. For a start, just look at the telcos first...
