Blacklist workshops?

Hi Mods,

Do we hv a blacklist for workshops here?

I'd like to share my (bad) experience with 1 of them:

Imagine getting a speeding summon with 6 Demerit points while your car is in the workshop?!
The wkshp is in Alexander while the summon was issued on Lornie Rd !???

How abt gripes on PML?
After many trips & lost of use for many days, & spending a lot of money, problems still not resolved. Worst, they said must do trial & error (at my own expense!) one-by-one!!!

Sorry, juz wanted to share my (bad) experiences with all the newbies like me here...

Does the shop specialise in BMW? There's not many of this kind in that area.
And what's the problem or symptoms, mind sharing?

Am sorry to hear than bro..

Tat place r well known! Never once I visit there ~~ Think its more advisable to pay a visit the workshop tat knows how to handle / more knowledgeable to Bmw..

your complain about the workshop is poor workmanship - not able to resolve problem or poor ethic - taking customer ride out for spirited drive, kena summon somemore

poor ethic is unacceptable !

I think his point is that the workshop took his car for a spin and kenna summon for speeding.

Thanks every 1 for your concerns.

Dunno if its appropriate to list the wkshp name here... anyw, its located @ Blk 1008 Bt Merah Lane 3 . its 1 of the listed wkshp fr this forum. "supposedly" good with bmw...

workmanship so-so, my pbms didnt resolve:
1) After refuelling, engine won't start. I have to crank 5-6 times or more.
2) When starting/cranking up, esp in the morning, the engine jerked & "clank" loudly, like as if u try 2 start w gear engaged.

These pbms hv been plaguing me, despite sending to pml many times & after spending lots of $$$ changing almost every part of the fuel system & electronics!

I'm still furious :mad: :mad: :mad: dat they took my car for a spin! now they claim that they can't trace the driver! WTF!!! I'll be writing to the Traffic Police to ask them to investigate this case!

huh? i dunno much abt de variant leh...

E60, 523i, ... er wat else? i-Drive, "fan-like" LED lines at tail light, juz 3 yr old ...

v malu la, i dunno much; still newbie...:oops::oops::oops:

oh i see, yes, is E60 523i...
is that your first visit to this workshop? who recommended you there?
really sad to your about this issue.....

maybe you've to try another workshop since they cant solve your problem.........

Ya I know that's one of the issue. I was asking him what's the problem with his car which he said workshop can't resolve. Btw he answered liao, cheers vroom vroom!

Blk 1008!!!!! Aiyo, recently I just sent my car there to have my rotors & brake pads changed. After the repair, they sent my car back to me. Am I mentioning the workshop that you have encounter???
