So i was having this issue of suddenly notified by the console that my coolant is low and need to top up.
It all happened i think 2 months ago? So I went to purchase Distilled Water and poured about a litre in, ran for a while 2 weeks later the screen pop up again that coolant was low!
So I read, do not mix coolants. And being unsure what was the coolant in the car, before I actually do a flush totally, guess its time to find out what really went wrong.
I check my car every morning and pretty sure nothing was leaking. So my conclusion was, maybe its only on high heat / pressure, then it will start to leak.
But speculating wasn't going to help, cos its just guessing, Ended up bringing to a reputable workshop to go through a pressure test.
After 1 hr, I receive a call from the workshop and also a list of items that needs to be changed out. including pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses, coolants, service fees etc...
All works out to about 2.6k Ouch!
Then I heard from someone that in the market there is a product that you pour into your coolant tank, and it will do its magic and seak the leaks, saving you thousands of dollars. To be honest I was very very skeptical, how can a product thats $25 thats able to stop the leaks. So I bought a bottle, and poured them all in.
To my surprise, the leak totally stop, and yes, it works, just like those advertisements in youtube. I was in disbelief thinking maybe the leak will happen again. So I have been checking my coolant level every morning for the past 2 weeks, so far so good!!!!!
If u search around the product is call k-S***, if you are facing the same issue as I do, maybe u wanna try it too. No guarantee of course hahaha.
End of the day, everything change is the best, if you are willing to cough out the dough
