BMW Performance Brakes

hi guys,

with the recent BMW POJ promotion, i was thinking of installing the bmw performance brakes for my car. it's about $2900 and includes a monoblock brembo 6 calipers and the brake disc.

anyone installed them yet? any comments?

you say leh ? front brake already cost USD$1.4K (before freight, gst, installation & PML markup, etc)

ok it's for both front brakes. price incudes 2x monblock 6 piston calipers, and 2x disc.
original it's $4100 something.

also, price inc. GST and installation

• Brake disc on the front axle is ventilated, perforated and grooved
• FA fixed calliper 6-cylinder aluminium in BMW Performance yellow with "BMW Performance" lettering in ferric grey
• Brake disc on RA is ventilated
• Supplied package:
– Brake discs
– Brake callipers

I was considering these brakes for my E92 but was told by PML that they do not fit onto the E92. Any one has fitted them to their E92?

now that's weird?

i asked them at alexander and they said it was can fit my E92. even on my stock wheels which is a 17". could you pm me the guy who said you can't, please. just to verify.

The BMW Performance brakes are Brembos...
But some folks mentioned that they weigh a TON...

I've booked these parts on my E90, 45days leadtime. No stock avaliable but I forgot to consider weighing my car down

Does anyone know stock disc+caliper (weight) vs this??

a member in KL having these installed on his E90, looking good!

i dont think the weight of these brakes is significant enuff to slow you too much in street driving IMO...unless you're into serious tracking/ racing in a circuit.

i say go ahead, they are Brembos!

Irregardless whether FWD, RWD or AWD, front brake is always more important. U could experiment with Bicycle.
