it's obvious .. the lower the profile the harder the ride
the tyre is so thin ... it's almost like riding on steel wheel

this is bmw standard 225/45/17 setup ... look at the sibei thick tyre
merc even run profile 50 !

Stock F10 is 225/55/17 or 245/45/18...W212 that I viewed at PI was 225/55/16 and 245/45/17, C&C was on sport, 245 front 275 rear, 18 or 19 I forgot...so both should be sama sama...

Horfun I just reduce my tyre pressure on my 20" to 195 front 210 back
Car feels less bumpy
Will try for few days

f10's exterior, at one glance, and compare to a stock w212, looks more yuppie and is the nicer looking car, IMO.
but if the w212 is done up properly, it can look damn fierce too.
for interior, w212's stock ones pales in comparison to f10.

i cannot tahan w212's front seats, look so square and plain.
but i had a chance to sit in my fren's w212 with complete AMG package. i was wowed, becos the bucket seats, contrast stitching, black interior roofing, ambient lights from the aluminum dash trim and the 3 spoke steering wheel is damn sporty!!

the ride? e250 seems good enuff, but is no strawberry....

solve the problem by getting a E Coupe. sexiest coupe amongst german cars by a mile.
wife will not complain becos thats how a Coupe's drive is like. ;P

Was going to buy a F10 5 series in London, but to my surprise, after testing this E class, its pretty good.
Yes, I would prefer the F10, but got a better deal with this merc..... plus the full ////AMG kit and rims makes it look not so ah pek. hahahaa.. I agree that the F10 interior is nicer.... but the merc is definitely more comfy

Agree that the seats look square and ugly.... but they are comfy.... especially if you're a bit on the plump side... hahahaha....
Didn't like the 7Gtronic gear on the right of steering wheel at first.... but I'm quite used to it now.... Find it convenient that i can keep my hands on wheel and engage reverse/park.
Other thing I like about my merc is the auto start stop...... works like a prius.... especially with the horrible traffic in London.

In terms of comfort...comparing non-comfort seat vs avant garde seats...
f10 has better front seats than w212.
w212 has better rear seats than f10.

Bucket seat on e-coupe is like expensive sports car. Need to climb in and slam your body into the seat, just like expensive sport car. Very atas. Mother complain every time she alight need to check if got people outside not, coz if wear skirt will have problem with exposure..
