BMW Z4 or 523?

Hi, would like to ask about BMW Z4. What would the potential issues be like. Currently driving a 525 and had already sent the car to workshop for oil leak. Otherwise, not much of an issue. However, the car has not reached the last 2-1 years so major issue still not sure yet. Would like to change to a 2 seater convertible. Perhaps, more experienced BMW owners can advise, as I had heard lots of horror experience regarding BMW when it became 8-9years old. Thank you

issue likely you will be on the road driving much much more.....you will travel a much loooooooonger road to work than usual etc etc...

Based on what two of my friends shared with me, they are just driving their Z4s now and hoping that nothing major will further breakdown in the 1-2 years remaining on their Z4s. The issues I have heard from both of them over the past few years include coolant/radiator issues, oil leakage problem, fuel pump failure, and ignition coil issue.
