Bowling games....

Ok Ref the Morton..

Bro besides you and me, I don't think anyone else here know what "ref" means.......kekeke

Ok.....lets think of another place then. Any suggestions from anyone?

Two suggestions :

World Gourmet Summit's 2004 Rising Chef of the Year, Sebastian Ng's Restaurant Ember (but ambience is very casual)

Or

Chef Jimmy Chok's signature rack of lamb at Salt Restaurant, where off-duty chefs go to for makan.

For chalet we'll need a sizeable group, no point if it's just 6-7 people right ? But I'll volunteer to be chef :)

Still on ideas - Brazilian Churrascaria on 6th Avenue. For carnivores.

Chalet - can ask family and friends along. Chio bu's most welcome.

Ok guys, let's not lose sight of our objective here  ...to hunt down the best roast lamb in town.

Salt Restaurant has taken the rack of lamb off their menu, and it has a pan-roasted lamb rump instead. Restaurant Ember has a slow roasted rack of lamb with thyme and mustard jus. I think Ember's a good choice. I've been there before and it's very good value for money. If we can get 10 people or more, we can even ask them to customise a menu for us.

Ken, you can easily wipe out 4000 calories in a couple of football games. No more excuses. 8)

And you too - I'll need a couple of kitchenhands. Kekeke! But yah, I agree with Rodders that it'll be a lot less hassle just going to a restaurant.

Yeah we are massively OT-ing here. Should shift this to another thread titled "Dinner Gathering"... Calling Ryan :wavey: could you pls help transfer the last few messages to a new thread? Thanks!

Ember is at Hotel 1929, Keong Saik Road...and before anyone says anything, that area's been cleaned up. Some hip joints there now.

Take a look...see if it whets your appetite. The foie gras is to die for, by the way.
