Buying a 523i - Please advise

Re: Buying a 523i - Please advise

My colleagues deal were all the same. The 523i standard version is 180,800 on the sales contract.

The trade in price is much higher than other distributors. Although one of them, has no trade in, 'cuase wife taking over his current car, PML gave him 1st 5 instalments free (worth $8k++) I believe PML new policy is to keep price tag same, just making the trade in value attractive so when you compare elsewhere, you'll be turn off by their trade in price. But overall is still left pocket to right pocket. Final balance is to take the 180k less the trade in... its better than less the price of 180k, then offer poorly for the trade in. I guess its the way the premiumly price themselves nowadays :woowooo:

Any chance of a group buy?

hi marko polo,

i checked with some SE. Apparently no better deal if buying two. Maybe you can try your luck and count me in if you get a good deal:)

Hi milkmilk,

Have been quoted $171k, what's your "shopping" revealed thus far. Made it clear to my SE that it was a competitive run between the 523, Merc 230 and Audi A6. She's been pretty persistent with the follow-ups over the past couple of days.

Hi bro,

Can you please PM me the deal your dad got as well? Thanks!

Quite stable prices. $181,800 with $13,000 worth of subsidies. I also got SE to throw in 3M mats and solar film. Cheaper than E230. :)

Re: Buying a 523i - Please advise

talking about convining wives.. mothers...

if you guys remember i book the car without "approval" from my better half... she was screaming her lungs at me...

Anyway, when we collected the car, i ask her to drive the car for the day, to get used to it... and i ask her if the car was worth the money at the end of the day... it was a resounding YES!

After that.. i am a firm believer of ... action speaks louder than words

May I ask what is the latest Xmas promo price for 523i? Even though COE cheaper, notice that price for luxury cars don't really follow in tandem.
