Re: california anyone?

its that damn backside i cant stand.

if u think about it 700k for a F badge...cabrio...4 sec...sounds like a bargain. but this cars gearbox is not aggressively set up apparently. more of a boulevard cruiser. but given the speed cameras along orchard bolevard which points at the backside of cars....the policeman may be shocked to death....n in that case u may be faced with a lawsuit. its hideous behind.

Re: california anyone?

The ass just doesn't feel right to me. I think the hardtop folding roof makes a very bloated rear that just doesn't look as sleek as the 599s nor the 430s. Plus the stacked exhaust does it no favors.

Re: california anyone?

sub 700 is BEFORE options.

anyways they needed to stack up the exhaust pipes coz the diffuser is more important. function before form as usual

Re: california anyone?

No reason why they couldn't arrange it differently :) heck even dual is nice.

Re: california anyone?

Ferrari looked like pioneers as far as design is concerned. But looks like with the California, Ferrari is just another copycat.

I'd get the 'real' deal instead of this. The California is a a car to those who wants a F badge.

Re: california anyone?

Though the exhaust looks weird, credit should be given to Lexus for a brave embarkation for having the exhausts as such. Yay to Lexus and Nay to Ferrari.

Integration with rear diffuser

While I am not a big fan of this EXACT rear bumper treatment, I think it is a good start, if having a wider rear diffuser is an important criteria.

elma, I read that two of the tailpipes in the IS-F don't work!!!

Haha, Omar's pic reminded me of the time, I stooped down to check out a Mazda 6 MPS' nice oval tips... only to discover the actual pipe diameter is quite PUNY, and it's actually disjointed (2" or so) from the tips!
