Hi all,

What is the tyre pressure you all pump for your stock 116i ie 205/50 17.

I just pumped mine for the first time and realised that the rear tyres it was at 260!

Front was 235. I checked the chart at the side of the door and it was dam confusing to me.....

In the end I pumped 235 for all 4 and re-initialised the tyre monitoring thingy....

What are your experience so far?

I'm not too sure if the same applies for RFT, but on my non-RFT, I pumped 220 Front, 240 Rear.
On the door label, its supposed to be 200 Front, 220 Rear if you are mildly loaded and not exceeding 160kmh.

Yes, I know it can be confusing especially if coming from a FWD car where the tyre pressure setting is set the opposite.

Nevertheless, it never hurt to experiment with different tyre pressure setting to suit your driving style and preference.

I think should follow what they mention at the side of the door. My previous car i pump front 260 and rear 290. Rear is usually higher than front.

Mine are Bridgestones S001 RFT 225/45/R17
According to the plate the Fronts are 200 - 230, Rears are 220 - 280 (light vs fully loaded)
So i pump the average : 215 Front, 250 Rear !

Just wondering if 1 series owners can share fuel consumption for their ride.
Mine's 10.5l/100km or 9.5km/l

My ride is at 11.9km/L when OEM. Will update with new data when I get a stablised reading.

Hmmm, I maybe replying a month late. My ride's FC is at 11.9km/L when she was OEM.
