It is a standard colour. There is 1 here in Bukit Panjang.

My SE was psychoing me to get that colour but I don't like.......

In the end bought a lemon instead of orange......sian.....

When I got the 1M the SE slap the chest and say VO is exclusive to the 1M...haha then i see exclusive E92 M3, exclusive F20s..


haha hope to see a Z4 or X5/X6 in VO as well..confirm must go take picture together

I saw bro zeromax's stone chip on his bumper - sibei heart pain.

It doesn't make sense. Why can't they undercoat the white paint with another layer of white? Or, black paint with another layer of black? Why must the undercoat be of a different, contrasting color?

Best is silver. Chip also cannot see.

Totally agreed.. should have my base be white then white paint.. for you should be black paint over black metal.. hmmm.. just weird la...

I bought my 118i last week! second hand but in good shape. I intend to get a driving recorder/camera unit for 24hrs surveillance but I dont want blackvue cos i dont want to link it to car battery.

I heard that there are some models which can be connected to individual standalone battery units (which of course must be recharged every now and then). Can anyone advise me of a suitable model?

also, can any dude advise me on where i can purchase and fix a reverse camera and the price?

lastly, pardon my ignorance but will the reverse camera affect the wiring which will affect the 'smart engine system'? i mean i dont want the system to light up every now and then (and this is also why i didnt want to get blackvue unit which has to be linked to car battery).

Regarding to your reverse camera, there are actually two kinds in the market right now.
The first one will be the retrofit version that is the same as the one in the 6 series. When you in reverse gear, the bmw badge at the back will pop out to reveal the camera inside.... but this option is more ex than the second one that I going to say.

The second one is to install the camera at either underneath your bumper or just above your number plate... basically, the camera is exposed. but this is cheaper...

there is a few site sponsors that is doing this... u can try soundwerks, or elebest...

As for the front surveillance camera, I dunno anything about it so I cannot help u in this.

Anybody tried putting more than 2 cargo luggage in the 1 series with 5 people in the car?

Yesterday did 2 cargo luggage with 5 people in the car.
Too bad 1 more luggage need to place on passenger's lap....

But one thing i have to say... the car still moves normally ....as though there is no load in the car......

i'm a cheapo so i'm ...using this one....bought from ebay for SGD40 with postage...can't expect much from the picture quality though...:roll:
