Car Insurance Premium Up

Last year I paid $850 insurance for new 316. When car is 1 yr old, premium by same insurer China Taiping on similar terms is $1136. No claims yet price is up. Any broker here can help me get better rates? PM me please.

interesting point - when checking quotes on AXA, it first ask me this. Are these cars difficult to insure?

"Your car is not a Honda or Chevrolet or Hyundai that is under 3 years old or a Volkswagen that is under 10 years or a vehicle of High Performance which includes and not limited to Ferrari, Lamborghini"

If no mods or declared LTA approved mods, Direct Asia cheapest with ncd protector and own workshop option.

Same experience.....thot MIC will be cheaper....doesnt seem so. Went back to axa which seem to give best rates for me...

Try Aviva but can't mod, workshop they use is AD Munich Auto.

That's what I thought. Cos I have tried sourcing around and concluded that MSIG from Sime darby is the cheapest for my F10.

I just received a renewal offer from Aviva for my 335i: $821.20

Previously $847 in 2013, $958.74 in 2012, $1,166.51 in 2011.

Is upsizing of rims considered as mod?

As long as the rim size is within manufacturer's specification.

For example, e90 320i has 16" as stock, but specs up to 19". As long as it is no smaller than 16" and no bigger than 19", and of the appropriate offset, it is considered within manufacturer's specification.
