Coilovers... when is it needed?

Suppose my ride has lightweight rims and sartsart bbk, and I find the drive now very comfortable, and I am ok with the height of the car with stock springs and absorbers, why would I change to coilovers?

I dun trek, only street driving. Suppose you are a coilover salesman, how would u convince me to buy since I worry about comfort loss? (Jokes are welcomed, serious discussion too)

If my super hot galfren is besides me, as a salesman u will tell me same?

Re: Coilovers... when is it needed?

If you just wanna slam the car purely for the look, just get lowering springs. Or stay status quo.

If you wanna have some handling improvements, adjustable dampening and adjustable height, go for a set of coilover. You have the handling + the look. Sure, some comfort will be sacrificed.

Anyone wearing a salesman hat will sell you anything with the highest margin. They will create a need for you.

You just need to ask yourself what you really need.

if got super hot gf, then if u got coilover u piak piak in car, car wun shake so much, less attention from outsider, den when bumpy road u see ur gf boobs jiggle more :goodup:

Re: Coilovers... when is it needed?

I will not sell you coilovers but will recommend a lowering kit (cannot adjust type) to complement your lightweight rims and sart sart bbk.

Reasons:
1. 3 fingers front and 2 fingers rear cannot make it with lightweight rims and sart sart bbk. 1 finger front and half-finger rear FTW!
2. People say you can adjust the height so you pay more but in the lifetime of the car when you own it, you can count the number of times you actually adjust them. Why pay more?
3. Once you come into this forum and ask such questions, you are going to get the same answer because these people love lowered rides. It is actually a crime not to lower when you have lightweight rims and sart sart bbks.
4. Some of the people here will suan you until you lower the ride.

Cheem enough? :)

Re: Coilovers... when is it needed?

If you are enjoying the ride, don't mind the looks, then stick with stock suspension.
Change only when you buay tahan, for example your friends ask you "you driving SUV?"

Cheeeem, starting to feel I am a sinner liao.
if I install coilovers but wana maintain 3 fingers/2 fingers, how will u suan me as a forummer versus as a salesman?

Re: Coilovers... when is it needed?

I have not tried 3 finger 2 finger method. Typically my foreplay session involves more than just fingers......

Re: Coilovers... when is it needed?

As the saying goes ~~~ " To kiss the floor is an ART " :D

As a sales man, I will tell u tat yur bimmer will Bring more veggies when lowered (without yur hot gal besides u) & if u r wif yur hot gal, I will tel yur hot gal is good for him as most veggis dont like hard rides (ofcos they would love e other hard stuff lar) ;)

Anyway, jokes aside..

Looks = lower springs enough.

Performance = coilover time! :D

How do you define good bra?

Hot gal must have hot bra. Hot bra = any bra that will generate heat in the opp sex provided that the gal is hot.
