Hi nonno13, sorry to hear abt yr not gd experience with my SE. Seems totaly diff from wat i encounter. I didnt intend to buy jus pop in pml but she sealed gd deal n service fr me so i bought. Maybe now more experience or change fr the better?

Yeah cannot have 318i 1.6 pricing too close to bmw 118 at 177k otherwise cannabalise 118 sales..will tgey offer gd upgrade package to 1 series owners jus as they did with the 5 series owners?

Cos my wife going gv birth tis month. So nid put things mah. First time trying conti car in my 8yrs driving. So abit stupid lah. Hahaha

Thanks man. Very excited nw. Alot of bros here younger then me also own a bmw nw. Bt frankly speaking. Price of jap car really nt worth lah. Many wil choose conti over jap. Tats my thinking lah.

when I was 28 I bought the new Honda Civic.. which was previous gen.
was a great car too.. for 70+k pricing.. haha

Yah. Was thinking of buying civic new model 1 also. Kns. Look at the price. Might s well get a bmw wif turbo n drive until song song. Gov really gd man. At times make 2nd hand car sel very gd. Then lower coe let jap car sel gd. Nw its conti time cos coe high. Till nw i only saw new model civic twice on the rd. haiz

Slight delay for 2 hrs at collection due to heavy rain- but smooth. SE brief friend and I together ( we collect our cars same day) so left pml only at 9! But great ride. Cant floor yet coz not broken in - so gentle driving.
No pics though coz too late to take pics.. Loving it!!

Noticed that can turn off the auto engine off button- but i have to do it everytime i turn on the engine so its not registered into the profile.. Anyone knows how to turn it off for a longer period of time?

If got the off button I would been turn off. Maybe you can check with the service centre soon. I found it quite high tech, I believed BMW engineering won't let us down. (^^,))

Haha. Yah. Better stay stock. Ytd nite did a test n 0-100km still can maintain. Bt once on 120km/h,the audi a4 guy pull off frm me very fast. Makes me wanna mod my car liao. Haiz

I find ur post funny man Paul. Wow u dun mind taking ur brand new Baby to JB with all the scary kidnaps ah? Yes i think BMW did a great job with this Auto Stop when braking becoz of ECO efficiency. If u go Sports mode dun have this issue. Anyway , theres a button at the START/STOP button to deactivate this auto engine stop function

Nonno brother, I'd read about the malay family been kidnap and good to heard they're back. But i promised my brotherhood for the drinking section @ JB. I also encounter the strange ppl at CIMB atm just watching me & my wify. Somemore my wify shiok shiok calculated the $. Hence there is nothing happen.
The deactivate auto engine stop button just on top of Start/Stop button right ?

so many challenges from Audi.. haha.. nvm lah, on singapore's road, by the time u reach from 0 to 100km/h, the front traffic lights also red liao...

Why not enjoy the music and the ride.... and go home to have a good night sleep with the BMW still intact sitting nicely at the car park dnstair :boring: and tomorrow is a better day 8)
