Driver hogs car space for disabled

FOR two months, residents of a Bukit Purmei HDB estate have noticed a shiny white BMW parked in a parking space that is reserved for the handicapped. Nothing unusual, except that it is conspicuously missing a label for the handicapped. In fact, nothing seems to have deterred the car owner from hogging the one and only space reserved for the handicapped in that carpark.

I give him benefit of doubt. Could be really handicapped.. Example iscoupe kkj has dropped off already, but he shy, scared people laugh, so never put label.

The Straits Times is prejudging this case by not making an effort to hear the driver's side of the story - if he always parks there, it should be easy to reach him. Instead, the reporter chooses to quote an unnamed resident whom I bet will be less "enraged" if the car wasn't a "shiny white BMW."
