Sorry to hear about this bro. I can understand how you feel. Next time must be careful too. Good that no one was injured in the accident.

I am not sure about it now...But I was stopped once a few years back at a police road block and I did drink alittle, the officer warned me, although I passed the breathalyzer test, should I get involved in an accident after the road block, I may still be charged for drink driving.

He mentioned passing the breathlyzer does not mean you are fine to drive...because different people have different tolerance of alcohol level. That little bit will still affect your judgement.

Can anyone comment?

Yoz bro, thanks for the comforting words. Yeah will give an honest report of what actually happened, will leave the rest to God.....

hi bro
i admire your coolness and gentleman behaviour.if its me i will first fark his 18 generations and bash his head in if he is alone.police come i say he attack me first.
but in your case.the driver did no wrong unless he speeding or you turn too slowly.

Hi bro,

This kinda thing, nobody wanted it to happen also.....anyways the fella confirm plus gurantee chop speeding man, he was on the extreme right lane then he swerved to the centre lane then he hit me man.....His lights was turning amber thats why he accelerate and hit me. He didnt even slow down, didnt hear any screeching and no screech marks on the road as well. Think he to heavily inflenced by alcohol so reaction very the slow man. Well now counting on the LTA camera at the junction where I hope they will replay what actually happened. Also there was on guy, whom think is a workshop guy and they say they will nail me down for what happened and they keep saying Im in the wrong. Well I will let the police investigate what happened. I will accept everything gentlemanly.

Re: Crash!

If you can prove he was under the influenced of alchol, you will stand a better chance of winning your dispute even thou he was under the limit. IMHO

Mike is the best bet if u ask me. Also, it seems that your further rear got hit pretty bad. Dont even think its something major unless its a front collision where your engine is. Is ur rear axle damaged or bent? If its not, i really dont think its anythign that major apart from panel replacement. The rear of most BMW cars are modular so its a simple thing as crop and insert. Only problem could be the cost. That junction is suay because the turning right light is not on long enough so where you have a chance, you might take it. Well hope everything is ok especially no one got hurt.

Hi Bro,

SInce my car towed to PML, morrow I go down and see what they say ya. See how first. My rear axle for both left and right all bent, the tow truck guys pretty experienced and they took a look at my undercarriage, they told me only sub and arm bent only, chassis still looks good. No prob they said. Haha hopefully everything is fine ya. My wife was with me in the car and was in shock man. Now she still feeling scared bout it.

+1, he could still get his licence revoked even if his alcohol limit is below the legal limit.

anyway delrosa, at else everyone is safe, hope u can have a closure on this and drive safe.

Spend more time with your wife if she's still affected. If your car's ok, i think you should relax. Just let time take its toll. Cars are like wounds, it will heal over time. Heheh.. You want Thai workers? I will make sure the workshop man pees in his pants when they talk to him.

I saw the road from opposing direction was clear and I proceeded to turn right, suddenly out of nowhere, a car came flying very fast from the opposite direction without braking at all ...... Upon coming out of my car, I asked other party whether he is alright, etc and I didnt noticed that he had drunk some alcohol, until the police came and brought him to blow the breathlyser. I guess the guy had his alcohol level below the legal limit as the police did not bring him back but only took his statement right there.

Now I would like to ask fellow bros, what are my chances of winning? Because the opposite party driver fren's came down to help him as he was dazed from drinking alcohol. He also kept quiet most of the time. Pls advise. My car is currently towed to PML and I am thinking of getting Mike to do my repairs and claims. Thanks very much.
I sympathise with your misfortune, but "suddenly out of nowhere, a car came flying very fast from the opposite direction without braking at all ......" ??? Hate to play the devil's advocate here, but the scenario was that you were turning and he was going straight..... Unless you can prove that he was gunning across a red light while you were turning on green arrows, it sounded like a weak case. I am sorry I do not sound patronising, but I think I speak my mind like an bystander on the spot. Whether he is doing DUI is secondary, cause if the records prove that he was not going beating the red, then you were turning without checking head-on traffic? Just a thought........

luckily he's not drunk else get yourself ready a lawyer cos DUI not covered by insurance...u have to sue him under civil court. will be very troublesome.
I thought the victim's own insurance will have to cover if it is comprehensive?
