Cross v PSS9

Re: Cross v PSS9

Do also bear in mind that the spring rates for PSS9 is soft if not softer compared to the stock ones... main differences will be the shock itself. If one is looking for comfort.. PSS9 will be the way to go IMHO. However, if one is looking for a set of coilovers for track etc... setups from CROSS, KW Clubsport/Variant 3, Moton and Ohlins etc should be considered.

Setups like PSS9, KW Variant 1/2 is more than adequate for whatever types of controlled agressive driving in Singapore... after all, how many people actually drive beyond the true limits of their cars..?

Re: Cross v PSS9

What are the types of coilovers available with in cabin adjustable damping? I know jippun ones like TANABE has something. Does Cross, Bilsten, KW has ?

Think it depends on what setting u r talking abt. I ve sat in an E92 set to 7/7 on the cross, it feels ok. At 8/8 well some uncomfortable was felt on sensitive bantark.

Beng,

I started with 8/8 on e90. Found handling a tad too sharp. Tail tends to come out quite easily. So I tried to go 8 front 7 rear and found it too soft during the B road runs. So now I am on 9 front and 8 rear. Just nice for me. Slurp.

9/8 ?:yikess:

It will be more like 7/7 for me since I am a slow n steady driver:)

MOTON Clubsport anyone? :p :D

Its out for the M3 already! But costs a bomb. It comes with individual oil reservoirs. Dont know if they are EDC compatible but sure as hell will make the M3 much much better.

Re: Cross v PSS9

not compatible, need to bypass the error message

Exactly. Was wondering if buying the KW V3 bypass modules would work. If it can, W00t!

those are gas canister, not oil. If u are talking abt their motorsport series, yes, cost much more than standard coilovers.
But for their Clubsport version, which is a 2 way coilover, its not really that far away, from say, the KW CS, or the PSS10..
Let me know if you are interested lah.. :yummie:

KW V3 for E90/E92/E93 M3 is out for quite awhile oready.

Basically it comes in 2 different part numbers.

1 for cars with EDC & 1 for cars w/o EDC.

For cars with EDC, the KW V3 kit comes with 4 bypass modules.

Bypass modules means the car's DME won't throw a fault when you install the aftermarket KW V3 coilovers.

All compression/rebound have to be adjusted on the V3 shocks itself. The EDC switch in the cabin becomes redundant.......

The V3 ofcourse can be set to be softer than stock or alot firmer than EDC sports mode.

Stock M3 sits dam high......not fierce enuf........kekekekeke
