i think no longer bringing in because the 520i despite being a 4 banger is turbocharged and thus has better performance numbers and lower road tax. I test drove it and was actually quite surprised that it didn't feel or sound like a 4 cylinder.

The suffix for diesel is 30d.
Unlike the N54 which was a real twin turbo, all the latest engines are twin-scroll turbo (e.g. N55), its actually a single turbo unit but they have tried to retain the same nomenclature to give people the perception that they are still getting twin turbo.

That's right. If you intend to pay at least 50% upfront anyway, it's a good idea to wait for the financing loopholes to be plugged. Demand will drop and COE prices have to follow.

Just came back from PML. 3series all sold out. 5series about 15units left. 520i selling for 219800. Overtrade 49k, still can adjust for more. Overall deprec for 520i comes to about 19k per yr. Not too bad a deal. Of cos is 6 bids Coe and hearsay all will register by 28 march.
