Hi Bro rt333,

Try the area near the Wet Market, a lot of choice,Jalan Keris off Jalan Badik, around the Shell Station and Good year Service centre. Take Jalan Tebrau, as you clear the M'sian customs, you will pass the Shell station on your left....keep left (don't take the flyover), go straight and turn right, you will get on the Teberau Highway...continue straight, look out for Crystal crown on your left, and soon after you will take a right turn into jalan Keris.....pls refer to map. You can locate it on your GPS.
Map of Johor Bahru City Square - 80000

Happy adventure.....bro

P/s: i am planning to head out this Sat if all ok. (morning liao say on the road by 8am-latest 8.30am...taking SLE via Woodlands check point. But this is still pending confirmation from COO@aka wife)

cheers.

Re: Driving F10 into Malaysia

I think we Singaporeans take our safety for granted, hence we tend to worry as we venture to other places. I think end of the day, take the necessary precautions, be on ur guard at all times, will help prevent urself mirred in a sticky situation.

If u have an alternate cheaper car, perhaps drive that in. For example, I love to park beside expensive cars, cos in the situation of carjacking, they would probably steal the car beside me, rather than mine. heheheh

My dad have a honda civic, love that car for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Just to clarify, it was just a tongue in cheek kind of joke, and not meant to be offensive in any nature.

I'm actually surprised that even protons are stolen, as if puting myself in a theif's mindset, I would go for a more expensive car for a greater return. Maybe the effort is lesser to steal a proton with its less complicated security system.

Proton is stolen for its spares... Once they shortage of spares the proton will be stolen n drive to a workshop for dismantle...

Thief steal car not for fun... No buyer they steal d car for wat?
Once a buyer order a car... They steal n immediate drive to habour n up d container for shipping.

If u suay suay kenna those thief steal for fun den u still got chance to find back ur car.
