In such incident, will a car fire extinguisher helps?

u need foam extinguisher for mechanical fire.. so carry 24cans of beer.
shake & shoot shld be enough.:smack:

Ok thanks for the reply pbear1973. Another question to avoid similar situation.

Besides regular servicing, maybe a weekly or bi-weekly or monthly self check is good. What should we look for to early detect problem that may lead to such disastrous incident?

E36 fuel leak easy can be detect by smell when open up bonnet or fr undercarriage.

i change all fuel piping every 3-4yrs whether got spoil or not. cheap cheap less than $200+
fuel pump seldom spoil. Singapore so hot simi belt or pipe sure crack - wear & tear.

Guys some stuff is up for sale. Cool Carbon rear brake pads (E36 and E46), rear stainless steel brake lines (E36 only) and also Supersprint exhaust (E36 M40/M43 for 316i or 318i)
